Tourism and Real Estate

Argentina presents real estate opportunities not only in Buenos Aires but in other parts of its very diverse landscape, most notably its breathtaking Andes Mountains which run along its western border from north to south.

Over one thousand kilometers from Buenos Aires, straight to the west in the province of Mendoza, or further south in the Patagonia region, real estate projects are flourishing.  In the midst of majestic natural beauty, these projects are blending sophistication, comfort and technology.

Locations such as Mendoza, Bariloche and Villa La Angostura, to name just a few, are attracting foreign investors who are astonished by the brilliant blue skies, snow capped mountains, fresh air, and splendid panoramic views of these relatively undeveloped areas.  These virgin lands are gradually being transformed (respecting the environment) with the construction of homes designed to be shared with family or friends.  They provide a vacation getaway available any time of the year.

An increasing number of people are leaning toward this blend of business and leisure. Investing in property in these natural settings offers unique scenery and other benefits.  It is well worth traveling a few hours from Buenos Aires in order to relax in these scenic tourist areas.

Real estate in Buenos Aires and other parts of Argentina continues to grow, with or without an economic crisis.  The current financial crisis may possibly slow down the progress of some projects; however, it should not paralyze them, especially when commitments have been made, construction has begun and alliances have been accomplished.  Fortunately, there are those who still have the financial resources to forge ahead with projects in these difficult times.  Maintaining the construction industry active is highly positive for the economy since it is an industry that stimulates labor on many levels.
